How does speed dating work?
You’ll have a series of short "dates" with each participant, giv. After each round, you’ll privately note whether you’d like to connect again. At the end of the event, you’ll submit your selections.
If two people select each other, it’s a match — and you’ll receive each other’s contact information from the host.
How long do events last?
Most events run about 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on the group size. This includes check-in, conversation rounds, and a short mid-event break.
Will I meet everyone?
Yes. Each participant meets every eligible pairing in their group.
What if I’m nervous?
That’s completely normal. Almost everyone is. The structured format makes it easy — you’ll always know when to start, stop, and rotate. You’re never left awkwardly figuring it out alone.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable. Most attendees choose something casual but put-together — like you would for a first date at a coffee shop or relaxed dinner.
What if I don’t match with anyone?
That’s okay. Not every room creates a spark, and that’s part of dating. Many people attend more than once. The goal is connection — not pressure.
How will I know if I have a match?
After the event, mutual matches are contacted directly with each other’s information. Only mutual matches are shared — your selections remain private.
Are these events inclusive?
Yes. Events are designed to be respectful and welcoming. Specific age ranges or orientations (if applicable) will always be listed in the individual specific event details.
Are events gender-balanced?
We aim for balanced groups. Occasionally, numbers may vary slightly — but the structure ensures everyone meets all available pairings.
What if someone cancels or doesn’t show up?
We do our best to maintain balanced numbers. If adjustments are needed, the format will be adapted smoothly so everyone still has a full experience.
Do I have to talk about anything specific?
No scripts required. You’re free to talk about whatever feels natural. We encourage curiosity, kindness, and light conversation.
Can I attend more than once?
Absolutely. Each event brings a new mix of people.
What’s your refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable but you can transfer to another event (that has openings). If you can’t attend, contact us as soon as possible so we can try and fill the seat to keep groups equal, and we’ll do our best to get you on the guest list for the next event.
