FAQ
Do I have to be a practicing witch to attend?
Not at all! “Witches in the Woods” is about connecting with nature, feminine energy, and personal empowerment—not about specific religious practices. You’re welcome whether you’re spiritual, secular, curious, or simply looking for a restorative weekend.
Who can attend?
This retreat is for all people who identify as female, including cis women, trans women, and non-binary folks connected to the feminine. We are LGBTQ+ affirming and inclusive of all backgrounds, spiritual paths, and body types.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Many guests attend solo and leave with new friends. Our circles and activities are designed to be welcoming whether you arrive alone or with a group.
You can easily invite friends through the Facebook event page. Help spread the word so nobody is left out!
What’s the lodging like?
Overnight guests will stay in simple, shared accommodations. Beds are all in one room: pull down (Murphy style) cots with 4 inch mattresses. You will need to bring your own bedding. Full restrooms including showers are available for use.
There is also the option to camp.
Are meals included?
Yes—meals listed in your ticket type are included. Please note any dietary restrictions during registration. Some food prepared by the retreat hosts and some meals catered by La Pâtissière By Anissa.
What should I bring?
Comfortable layers for outdoor activities, a water bottle, and any personal comfort items (like a blanket or mug). If staying overnight you might also want to bring yoga mat and camping chair. You’ll receive a full packing list before the retreat.
Is the venue accessible?
We do our best to make the space accessible, but because the venue is in a forested setting, terrain can be uneven. If you have accessibility needs, please contact us before booking so we can discuss options.
Is there cell service or Wi-Fi?
Cell service is limited in some areas, and Wi-Fi is not provided. This is intentional—to help us all unplug and be fully present.
What if it rains?
The retreat will go on rain or shine! Some activities may be moved under cover or indoors if needed. Bring a rain jacket just in case.
Can I get a refund if I can’t make it?
Ticket sales are final but may be transferred to someone else.
Can I bring my pet?
For everyone’s comfort and safety, pets are not allowed (except registered service animals, please notify us ahead of time).
